We’ve heard concerns that the city is considering doubling water and sewer rates—this is not the case. To provide clarity, please refer to the table of the proposed rates currently under consideration.
The highest potential increase for out-of-town customers includes a 10% surcharge compared to in-town customers, not a 100% increase. This surcharge is less than what is charged in almost all regional cases except one.
